Student's Thank-You Letters
Thank you for your continuous support and assistance to the Medicine Department of Fu Jen Catholic. I am in the sixth grade and having my internship at the hospital. I live in a four-member family with my father, little sister, and brother. Our family is not rich enough to afford my tuition fees and financial support, so I have to do part-time jobs to maintain my daily expenses. However, your support helped me to overcome a few hard time, and I really appreciate that.
The coursework in the hospital is very different from school. I have more time spent with patients, and learn how to practice medicine at work. Although sometimes I would find it hard to get familiar with all the lessons, I still made all my effort to study because I knew that the knowledge may help me solve the patients’ pain.
If it were not for your financial support, I could not afford the tuition fee and study so smoothly without financial pressure. With your financial support, I have more time to focus on my studies and needn’t worry about the money. Originally, I had to work several part-time jobs to earn enough money to meet the balance and still live a poor life. However, now I could eliminate my money worries and spend more time with my family.
It’s very appreciated for your help and I would like to pass this generosity and love to more people. As a receiver, I often think about what I could give out to others. Therefore, I decided to join a charity group that aims to help teenagers under family bully to maintain both their physical and mental health. In the future, I hope to have the chance to help my juniors with better facilities or financial support.
Once again, I would like to thank you for your support of the Department of Medicine, at Fu Jen Catholic University. Your assistance is our greatest encouragement. Thank you and Happy Christmas!
I am immensely grateful for the scholarship provided by the Foundation, which has supported me in my pursuit of knowledge, allowing me to focus solely on learning without the burden of worrying about trivial matters.
The second semester of my fourth year seemed to pass by very quickly. In addition to progressing through medical courses, another major focus was the first phase of the national medical licensing exam during the summer break. Although the preparation process was challenging, it not only helped me review the fundamental courses before starting clinical training in my fifth year but also served as a comprehensive assessment of what I had learned over the past four years. I’m glad that I successfully passed the exam and even had the opportunity to return to school this semester to share my study strategies with younger students. I hope my experience was helpful to them.
This semester marked the beginning of my clinical observations in the hospital. Unlike in school, where everything is neatly scheduled for us, I realized the importance of self-directed learning and seeking guidance from mentors. These were my key goals for the semester. As I rotated through various specialties, I hoped to discover an area that genuinely interests me, which I could pursue as my career goal in the future.
Finally, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Foundation for generously providing me with this scholarship. The depth of my gratitude cannot be adequately expressed. Reflecting on my journey, I am truly humbled by the support I have received from many people. I am committed to making the most of this scholarship to continue striving for excellence. I believe that in the future, as I gain more capabilities, I will uphold the spirit of the foundation by assisting other students in need along their educational journey, thus contributing to society.
By now, I’ve been sponsored the scholarship from J. T. Tai& Co. Foundation for 5 years. I would like to dedicate my deepest gratefulness because the scholarship really bring me a lot favor not only the economic aid but also the spiritual support.
By now, the scholarship does change my life, I will explain how I use the scholarship. First, most of the part of expense was cost of living, like food expense, house rent or other daily cost. It really relived my burden of life. I can dedicate to study without any concern of money. Second, I sent part of the scholarship to my mom. In my mind, she is the greatest mom in this world. She spared her salary carefully to give me a better life and a perfect environment. Therefore, this is the time I can pay back her kindness by using this precious scholarship.
This year, I will graduate from medicine department, and becoming a real doctor in the future. Until now, I’ve received many helps and kindness form my friends, teachers and somebody of generous. It is the time that I can give these favor to the society. Although life may be struggle, it still full of hope and opportunities which waiting people to seize.
Finally, hope all is well with the members of J. T. Tai& Co. Foundation and their family. One again, I would like to appreciate J. T. Tai& Co. Foundation’s generous help.
